Yes, our tiles are unglazed, frost proof and the water absorption rate is 0.5% or less.
Can I use tiles carried at Lowe’s around my fireplace?
Yes, they are suitable for the outside of the fireplace but not on the inside.
Do I need to seal the Rialto, Botticino, Positano or Murano series tiles carried at Lowe’s?
No. During production process there is glaze incorporated in the mixture to help prevent stains.
Why do porcelain tiles cost more than other tiles?
Porcelain tile is a better quality product. Porcelain tiles are produced using the finest mixture of natural ingredients. The manufacturing process requires the highest of technology to create top quality products.
How do I clean my porcelain floor?
We recommend and support any ceramic floor cleaning products sold at Lowe’s Home Improvement.
Why does my Rialto Series tiles have chips on the edges of the tile and is this a defect?
This is not a defect in the Rialto Series! This is part of the production process that helps create the worn-tumbled marble look that we are trying to create.
How come my tiles vary in size?
If you install tiles that are not part of the same lot # or production run there may be some variation in size. However, the tiles must be within a certain tolerance set by the ANSI organization which we up hold. To prevent such a problem we recommend that you install tile all from the same LOT # (located on the side of each carton) or mix and match your cartons throughout the installation process. If you com across this matter it is not a defect and is common on all ceramic tile production.
How come my tiles vary in colors?

Yes, all of our tiles have ratings high enough to with stand the traffic of commercial usage.
What is the PEI rating of the tiles you provide Lowe’s?
Rialto Series = PEI 5
Botticino Series = PEI 5
Positano Series = PEI 5
Murano Series = PEI 4
